Ex-President Donald Trump is likely to be Arrested

Former President Donald Trump is leaving New Jersey and heading to Washington, D.C., where he is expected to be arrested in connection with attempts to overturn the 2020 elections.

As part of the investigations led by special counsel Jake Smith, Trump was accused of several charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of official proceedings, attempted obstruction, and conspiracy against rights.

Today, after he arrives in the American District Court, it is expected that Trump will be arrested, processed, and possibly brought before a court of law. Since Trump has already faced legal action related to secret payments in the federal system, his arrest today could proceed smoothly.

It is expected that Trump will plead not guilty, and the trial may be postponed.

This is the third arrest for Trump within four months. In June, he was indicted in the investigation of secret payments, and in March, he faced allegations of business fraud in a grand jury in Manhattan. Currently participating in the 2024 presidential elections, Trump has denied any wrongdoing in both cases.
